Porto Santo is packed this weekend, with various social and sports events taking place there.
The fact that the “reborn” 1st of November public holiday is on a Tuesday allowed many Madeirans to enjoy a long weekend with a single day of holidays, plus the fact that low season tickets for residents now cost 20 euro meant a change in behaviours, unforeseen earlier in the year.
