Madeira is getting used to be nominated as one of the best destinations. This time it is as “Best Insular Destination in the World”, a distinction Madeira has held since December last year. This happens just a few weeks after receiving the title “Best European Insular Destinatio”, by World Travel Awards.
The 23rd yearly edition of the prizes – tourism’s Oscars – is to be decided as in previous years: in online platforms, based on opinions by tourism specialists and clients until October 24th. The prize awarding ceremony is to take place on December 2nd 2016.
