Book your night at the marine biology station

Building on previous years’ successes, the Funchaql marine biology station is this year again planning to open one night per month, during the summer. The idea of this Funchal council structure is to show the population the work developed there, both in terms of research and education (namely in environmental issues).

The first open night is to take place on July 29^th, with guided tours taking place between 20h and 22h30. Meanwhile, at 21h, there’s a conference scheduled, entitled “The Madeira Ocean Observatory and Madeira’s Marine Biodiversity”, by Rui Caldeira, Claudia Ribeiro, Pedro Neves and Andreia Henriques.
