“I look for the first time and I se a plain pattern, repetitive, limited. I look closer, and see with more detail, I access a mysterious place where I find other shapes, an infinite number of variations. I see the detail, the cut, the filigree that emits its inner light. I takes time, patience, space, calm and the very will to see…
Now, already within this other place, I find strange beings that complete actions that only imagination can make sense of”.
These words are from choreographer Clara Andermatt and will be accompanied by the sound of Jonas Runa on the play “Dez Mil Seres (Ten Thousand Beings)” which will be presented by “Dançando com a Diferença” from November 18th at the Funchal city theatre.
The artistic direction of this “must go” in your agenda is, again, Henrique Amoedo, the man who created this group and that one day made people with differences dream, and make their dreams come true.
Priced at 3 euro (for children up to six years of age) and 5 euro for all others, the shows will take place on Friday November 18th, for schools, at 10h and 15h, Saturday, 19th, at 19h30, and Sunday, 20th, at 18h, for all others.
