Until July 7th those interested can apply to the professional course o contemporaneous dancing, to take place at the Conservatório – Escola Professional das Artes da Madeira. It is a requirement that those applying have completed the 9th school year.
The course lasts three years, full time, with a total of 3200 hours of tuition, conferring a level 4 professional certification as well as equivalence to 12th grade – which means students can apply to university.
Being a professional course, pupils are exempt from paying enrolment and tuition fees for the three years of the course, to a personal accidents insurance covering all teaching activities, social subsidies as stated in the law (transport and feeding), as well as all teaching material, books and support equipment (but not the personal equipment).
In the same general conditions, it is also possible to apply to the courses of instrument player, jazz instrument player and acting/performing.
Guidebooks for all courses are available online in https://goo.gl/tXOfzZ (instrument player), https://goo.gl/RfSFOn (jazz instrument player), https://goo.gl/1mgCuc (conteporary dancing) e https://goo.gl/aGsDqy (acting/performing), while the application form can be found at https://goo.gl/PkRXNp.
