Madeira is still growing in the UK, and to prove there the increase of weekly connections. From the summer of 2017 there will be further flights from Manchester and Newcastle, besides a new connection that is to be established from Stansted, in London.
The new strategy from Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays will add thirty thousand seats next summer, when compared to this year, with the flight from London starting on April 3rd, twice a week.
With these flights, Jet2.com will fly to Madeira from six airports in Britain: London – Stansted, East Midlands, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Leeds – Bradford.
The flights will be undertaken by the new Boeing 737-800s recently received by the airliner.
