Pedro Inácio, a researcher that responsible for the EPAL museum, gathered twenty six aqueducts photographs, from the whole country, including of the one that once fed the old Machico engenho with water.
The pictures can be seen at the Solar do Ribeirinho – Nucleo Museologico de Machico, in Machico, from April 26th. The event is linked to international museums and sites day, this year dedicated to “Cultural heritage and sustainable tourism”. The date and the event aim at promoting monuments and historical sites, value Portuguese heritage, and simultaneously call for their preservation and protection.
